WebAug 6, 2012 · I have been running a ratio of 40:1 ( 3.20 oz per gallon ). I have no issues and my engines run real good. It is just a pain, since Stihl makes their bottles to mix at 50:1. I buy the 6.4 oz 6-packs and measure the oil to mix it. My local hardware store that stocks the Stihl oil, only carries small 6-packs, large 6-packs, and quarts.
