Went to the auto parts store to try and find an oversize self-tapping plug. Checked three stores and none had the correct size but an employee talked me into trying a m12-1.75 vs the m12-1.25 that it takes. Web11 jul. 2016 · Today my oil drain plug became stripped. Nobody is using hose for draining the engine block plug and chances that you will really need it are pretty slim. Get 1/4" pipe plug, or bigger if necessary at local hardware and get it fixed. Tapered pipe plug will come off easier that the one you broke in the future ...
