For example, for me, it was Chromium appearance after every reboot. everything seems to be working as intended. WebIs Bitdefender the thing that's playing ads in the background? If it's not Bitdefender doing it, see if Bitdefender's scan reveals anything. Otherwise try the free version of malwarebytes, and see what pops up. 9/10 times MalwareBytes will probably find what's making the popups.

WebHm I guess VRChat is actually a virus these days. Avast is a pest. False positives everywhere and intrusive as hell. For Windows 10 you don't need anything more than the already installed Windows Defender and maybe BitDefender on top or Malwarebytes free. WebAnecdotally from others and personally in my experience, Malwarebytes has often caught malware that a few other antivirus programs totally missed. WebMalwarebytes free is just a scanner, you can just scan and stuff and it will only help you if you got infected and you scanned. I recommend using it as a scanner. So in my conclusion, it is best as a scanner, but not great as an AV. I only recommend using Malwarebytes [paid] beside another AV.
